The UN’s long-awaited report into China’s treatment of the Uyghur Muslim population, and other minorities, has finally been released. The UN has accused China of “serious human rights violations”. China urged the UN to not release the report calling it a “farce”. Investigators have found “credible evidence” of torture, and it could amount to “crimes against humanity”.
