One country rebrands, another bans music.

Turkey has rebranded to Türkiye which is how it’s pronounced in Turkish. This was in a hope to distance themselves from the bird. The UN has accepted the request for change so it’s all official.

There was a plane crash in Napal last week. The Tara Air flight went missing in poor weather and swerved right instead of left hitting a mountain. None of the 22 occupants survived the accident. Napal has now implemented new regulations so that the airport makes the ultimate decision on whether a plane can take off in bad weather, removing the decision from the pilot…
